      Olympic Park was completed in 1986 after the commencement of constructions on a land of over 136,300 square meters to hold Asian Games in 1984 and Seoul Summer Olympic Games in 1988. Mongchon Earthen Fortifications were restored at the center of the park, and 6 game arenas were arranged in a semicircle around the park which has been positioned as the living and breathing park at the urban center together with the touching emotion of Seoul Olympic and breath of our ancient kingdom Baekje around Seoul.

      This park is located along the southern end of riverside between Yeongdong Bridge and Jamsil Railway Bridge through Jamsil Underwater Barrage from Seongnae River. The area of the park is 489,800㎡ with its length of 4.8km with the extensive arrangement of sports and leisure facilities larger than that of any other area as it has neighboring facilities such as Jamsil Sports Complex, Lotte World and Olympic Park.

      Seonjeongneung (Historical Heritage No. 199) is one of the Joseon Dynasty’s royal tombs at Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, Korea. It is also called Samneung Park because it has three tombs. This historical site accommodates Seonneung as the royal tomb for Seongjong, the 9th king of the Joseon Dynasty, and his queen Jeonghyeonwanghu Yun, together with Jeongneung as the royal tomb for Jungjong, the 11th king of the Joseon Dynasty.

      Daemosan Mountain is the nearest mountain from SETEC, which is a small mountain with its height of 293M. Together with Guryongsan Mountain, the mountain has played a role of relaxation for residents after apartment complexes were built to Ilwon-dong Valley. In addition, Heoninneung is located at the southern foot of this mountain, which is worth of your tour. Heoninneung is the combined title of Heonneung as the royal tomb for Taejong, the 3rd king of the Joseon Dynasty, and his queen, and Inneung as the royal tomb of Sunjo, the 23rd king of the Joseon Dynasty, and his queen.
