  • The usage period specified in the lease agreement
02Approval standards
  • Approval Evidence

    Approval in accordance with the operating regulation "Guideline for the Installation of Advertising and Guide Facilities" → Temporary approval may be held depending on weather conditions (e.g., typhoon or other severe weather).

  • To be removed

    Any advertisement without an approval seal or permission, as well as advertisements that damage aesthetic appearance, shall be removed and reinstalled after necessary corrections.

03Approval procedures
  • Receive an application

    - An installer submits an application for the installation of advertising and guide facilities.

    - Attach appendix specifications and layouts of advertising and guide facilities.

    - Place to be submitted: SETEC Hall manager’s email

  • Review Application

    Review based on the “Guidelines for Advertising and Guide Facilities” → Return any application that breaches installation guidelines or differs from the event characteristics → Resubmit the application after supplementation.

  • Notify Approval

    Approval after completing the review of the application (Notify the installer).

  • Advertisement Installation

    Install advertisements at the approved location → On-site manager checks the installation site (verification of proper installation).

  • Remove Advertisement

    Remove installed advertisements after the event closing → Hall Manager checks the removal site (any damage to facilities) → Installer: check the completion after the removal.

04Guidelines for advertisements

Advertisements (banners and others) can be installed in accordance with Clause 7)―B, 2. Observance on SETEC Operating Regulations, Ⅰ. Cautions for Exhibition Center Users. The standards for specifications in details are shown below.

  • Note) 1. No attachment other than standard specifications, immediately removal after the event ends.
  • 2. No arbitrary attachment [approval and seal affix by Hall Manager for the attached location and posting period (attached date ~ removed date)]

  • 4. No attachment of posting objects such as posters to the wall or glass.
  • 5. No use of any advertising ballon, speaker or sound event in SETEC outdoor exhibition spaces. (To be regulated))

    ※ ① Guide to regulations for advertising ballon installation ? Any advertising ballon shall be permitted by the incumbent district office before its use in accordance with the “Outdoor Advertisement Control Act”. Any illegal installation is subject to a penalty of not more than 10 million KRW or imprisonment of a year or less. Especially, the installation is in principle prohibited in any general residence or apartment district. In case of SETEC (#514, Daechi-dong), the district is designated as one of the cooperating districts for air defense, so that the installation of any advertising ballon is difficult in the area.

    ② Guide to regulations for noises - SETEC falls into a place with many civil petitions for surrounding houses due to the noises from events because it is located near residential facilities. Any event with the expectation of various noises shall be controlled as SETEC falls into one of facilities for noise control within 300m from residential areas in accordance with Clause 4 of Article 20 (Regulations for Living Noises and Vibrations) in the “Enforcement Rules of the Noise and Vibration Regulation ACT“.
