01Cautions for constructions

Common

  1. 1. Carry out any installation and dismantlement works for the event held in SETEC in accordance with any related laws as well as approval procedures on SETEC operating regulations and guidelines.
  2. 2. Submit the original copies (including separate attachments) of any documents including work reports to exhibition center operation office within the due time. Attach a letter of reasons if they are not submitted within the due time under any unavoidable circumstance. Access to exhibition center shall be restricted if reports are not submitted.
  3. 3. Wear a pass issued by SETEC or the exhibition organizer all the time during the installation and dismantlement time.
  4. 4. No smoking or food in the exhibition center
  5. 5. Pay attention to damage or impairment to SETEC facilities.
  6. 6. Submit the list of waiting personnel and their contact to exhibition center operation office in preparation of A/S during the exhibition period.
  7. 7. No piling of furnishing or items near any wall, passage or hydrant. Keep 1.5m or more gap from the existing facilities (Abide by the restricted lines on the installation of exhibited items.) Restore any damage or impairment to facilities on the user’s expenses within the shortest possible time.
  8. 8. No working, piling, loading or unloading of items or boxes, parking or stopping of any vehicle in the unloading place, vehicle passage.
  9. 9. Submit a report on restoration including the fact of any abnormality in the existing facilities to exhibition center operation office after the completion of installation and dismantlement works.
02Cautions by business type
  • 1) Exhibition center installations
    1. 1. The use of electric machinery such as electric saws and any painting works shall not be allowed because only the assembly of finished items is allowed in SETEC.
    2. 2. Cleaning to remove foreign substances flown in to the inside of a bit in the course of cleaning inside the bit, installation and dismantlement constructions shall be done after the completion of dismantlement constructions.
    3. 3. Any waste from installation and dismantlement shall be directly disposed of. (No piling is allowed.) Boxes for materials shall be stored in the designated places after approval by Hall Manager. (No arbitrary storage is allowed.) Any item including materials brought in for the event shall be removed to the outside of SETEC within the due time.
    4. 4. Any event using indoor exhibition facilities shall carry out Pytex or equivalent constructions to the floor.
    5. 5. Papering: Prevent wallpapers with paste or bond from being attached to the exhibition center floor and carry out any paster works with paste or bond within the constructed booth.
    6. 6. The floor shall be protected with constructions with Pytex around the floor and its surroundings during the installation of facilities in the lobby such as the registration stand or arch, and attention shall be paid to the prevention of any damage due to noises during dismantlement.
    7. 7. Carry out any construction after your submission of separate work reports and their approval during the construction of any independent booth.
  • 2) Electric constructions
    1. 1. Restorations shall be made in case of any damage or impairment from the final check on the check opening caps after the completion of dismantlement, as well as restorations of check opening caps in addition to the thorough care for trench and check opening caps.
    2. 2. First installation on working power before the main line construction (marking on the installation locations on drawings when work reports are submitted.)
    3. 3. Constructions shall be done in compliance with regulations in the electricity laws and SETEC operating regulations.
    4. 4. Regarding check after the completion of constructions

      - SETEC Operation Office shall manage the overall check after the completion of constructions, and constructors shall provide their best cooperation in safety check to carry out check amicably.

      - Constructors shall be responsible for switch control (on/off) on any independent booths and/or basic booths under the principle of constructors’ responsibility.

    5. 5. Constructors shall be responsible for any safety accident under the principle of constructors’ responsibility.
    6. 6. The completion of dismantlement shall be notified to exhibition center operation office in writing.
    7. 7. Cap installation on top of electricity distribution boxes shall be done to hide terminals for the prevention of any safety accident.
    8. 8. Main line (wiring) drawings shall be attached on the submission of work reports.
  • 3) Security guard
    1. 1. Submit a report for security guard list to exhibition center operation office before the input of personnel.
    2. 2. Safety control for installation and dismantlement: make best efforts to prevent any violation against each of cautions by business type as well as common cautions relating to constructions during installation and dismantlement constructions.
    3. 3. Get familiar with SETEC security guard work instructions and carry them out.
    4. 4. Notify exhibition center operation office of any personnel input and withdrawal.
    5. 5. Prohibit constructors from any action in breach of operating regulations and guidelines.
  • 4) Transportation and custom clearance
    1. 1. Slow driving in SETEC (10Km/h or less)
    2. 2. Bring in any exhibited product after submitting an application for bringing in exhibited product and acquiring its approval within the designated time.
  • 5) Pytex
    1. 1. Mark the constructor name on the back of any carpet for an independent booth. (Mark should be done because Hall Manager will check it out at the site.)
    2. 2. Notify Hall Manager of the floor condition in writing after the dismantlement of Pytex or carpet.
    3. 3. The constructor shall carry out restorations in case of any abnormality on the floor.
  • 6) Ticket selling and registration system
    1. 1. Notify SETEC operating office of the status on visitors and participants after closing the daily event.
  • 7) Dismantlement
    1. 1. Pay attention to any damage to the floor if any booth is dismantled using a top car.
    2. 2. Notify SETEC operation office of the final test completion (normal supply) after the completion of constructions.
  • 8) Water supply, drainage, compressed air
    1. 1. Thoroughly care for trenches and check opening caps.
    2. 2. Notify SETEC operation office of the final test completion (normal supply) after the completion of constructions.
  • 9) Instruments and furnishing
    1. 1. No use of any furnishing to deteriorate aesthetic appearance including any damage or impairment.
    2. 2. Rationalization of rental prices
  • 10) Advertising and guide facilities (see regulations relating to advertising and guide facilities.)
    1. 1. Install them after approval for the designated places in compliance with installation guidelines for advertising and guide facilities.
    2. 2. Fabricate any advertisement after acquiring approval.
    3. 3. Make thorough efforts to prevent banner fixing ropes from deteriorating aesthetic appearance and install them to prevent any existing facility from damage. (Check any abnormality at any time after their installation.)
    4. 4. Notify SETEC operation office of any abnormality after the completion of installation and dismantlement.
    5. 5. Remove the installed advertisements at the same time of the event ending.
  • 11) Heavy machines such as forklift
    1. 1. Slow driving in the exhibition center (10Km/h or less)
    2. 2. Pay attention to any damage to facilities such a walls or floors during the loading, unloading or transporting of items.
03Contract cancellation and registration restriction
  • 1) Contract cancellation
    1. 1. If any material damage to SETEC or the event organizer is done;
    2. 2. If a written warning is received twice a year or three times in total;
    3. 3. If any fire and/or fatal accident is caused or damage (impairment) of 2 million KRW or more to facilities is caused;
    4. 4. If any corrective request for matters in breach of any regulation of SETEC is not responded.
  • 2) Period of registration restriction (from the day of contract cancellation)
    1. 1. If the contract is cancelled due to any material damage to SETEC or the event organizer: 3 years
    2. 2. If the contract is cancelled due to any material accident such as fatal accident and/or fire: 3 years
    3. 3. If the contract is cancelled due to damage (impairment) of 2 million KRW or more to facilities: 2 years
    4. 4. If the contract is cancelled due to minor accidents or in violation of any provisions in the laws: 1 year
    5. 5. If the contract is cancelled due to other minor violation against regulations other than the above clauses: 6 months
